The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Hints
Defeat the kayran in its lair.
1 of 6: Look just NE of where Síle leaves you to find a rock that you can jump down from the end of.
2 of 6: Past that are two more jump-down rocks. Go past the second one until the path bends, then stop and enter meditation mode.
3 of 6: Drink your mongoose potion (if you made one) plus other useful potions, then exit meditation mode and select the Yrden sign.
4 of 6: IMPORTANT: If you're on the PC, don't go any farther unless you're playing the game in 640 X 480 screen resolution. With higher resolutions, an important QTE may not work right.
5 of 6: Move on to where a cut-scene starts the battle with the kayran, then draw your silver sword and start running around to dodge its tentacles.
