Ankh Hints

Find the Pharaoh's daughter.

  • 1 of 18: This task is added to your list right after you finish "Tell the Pharaoh where his daughter is."
  • 2 of 18: Before you can do much on this task, you have to finish "Get into the Sphinx."
  • 3 of 18: Once you're inside, you need to explore around and figure out how to get to the entrance to the underworld.
  • 4 of 18: Also, it would be good to know how to get back outside the Sphinx now that the entrance you used is closed.
  • 5 of 18: There's a series of three memos lying around that will give you clues for both of those goals.
  • 6 of 18: Once you have all three memos, you should know how to escape the Sphinx and who to go see after you do.
  • 7 of 18: Back outside, you'll need to get going on the "Get the locksmith's key" task.
  • 8 of 18: Once you have the eyeball key, you need to get back inside the Sphinx.
  • 9 of 18: Then you need to figure out how to use the eyeball key to drain the electric eel tank. You don't want to end up like Dinar!
  • 10 of 18: Using the key gets you a handy pull cord, which you can use to drain the eel tank.
  • 11 of 18: Go back down to the top of the tank to find that you have a new exit called "descent."
  • 12 of 18: However, the first time you try to use it, Assil will get nervous about his nearly drained energy bar.
  • 13 of 18: You'll have to restore it to full power by doing the "Restore my health" task.
  • 14 of 18: Once your energy bar's in the green, you can reenter the Sphinx as before and use the eel tank's "descent" exit.
  • 15 of 18: You'll slide down to the tomb room with the giant portal, thereby starting the "Open the giant portal" task.
  • 16 of 18: Go through the open gate and down some stairs to reach the tomb.
  • 17 of 18: Go all the way to the left end of the tomb to find the strange construction that'll take you to the underworld.
  • 18 of 18: After the construction is activated, you'll be teleported to Chapter Five: Into the Dark, where you'll continue this task (since you haven't actually found the Pharaoh's daughter yet).
