Protect President Kimball.
1 of 4: Soon after this objective starts, the president's vertibird will land on the rooftop helipad. He and his guards will come out the doors near Ranger Grant's station and make their way down to the speech platform. If you wait around long enough, he'll get assassinated by a sniper during the speech.
2 of 4: Thankfully, there's plenty of time and opportunities before he's killed to prevent it. The most obvious way is to go after the sniper. See the "Keep an eye on sniper locations" objective for all the details on that.
3 of 4: There's a backup assassin who plants a bomb on the president's vertibird in case the sniper fails to kill him. If your Repair or Explosives skill is 50+, you can find and disarm the bomb instead of going after the sniper.
