The Wailing and the Waterdhavians

  • 1 of 11: This quest is put on you when you start Chapter 1.
  • 2 of 11: After you talk to Fenthick in the Sanatorium, go through the north door to get to the Hall of Justice.
  • 3 of 11: Talk to Aribeth there to officially get the mission of recovering the four lost cure creatures.
  • 4 of 11: She'll also give you a Stone of Recall, which can be used to teleport to the nearest Temple of Tyr from anywhere (the Hall of Justice is the temple in this chapter).You can also pay to return to exactly where you teleported from by entering the yellow recall portal in the temple. Using this feature is kind of like putting a battle on pause while you rest and heal (and hire a henchman, maybe).
  • 5 of 11: Be sure to add the stone to your main quickbar and memorize its quickbar number soon. Aribeth will heal you for free upon request, so this is a really great setup!
  • 6 of 11: Now to go find and return those four escaped creatures (or the important parts thereof).
  • 7 of 11: Think of this as a "four corners" quest. You need to travel to and adventure through four separate regions in order to find all four Waterdhavians.
  • 8 of 11: Each region is a separate subquest, and you can do them in any order you want to.
  • 9 of 11: When you turn over the fourth and final ingredient (whichever one it is), Aribeth will ask you if you want to head off to the ritual chamber right then.
  • 10 of 11: You'll almost certainly want to say no so that you can finish up some quests, buy more supplies, etc.
  • 11 of 11: When you're through with all that, return to Aribeth and say you're ready to go to the ritual chamber in order to start the big Chapter 1 Finale.
