Bioshock Hints

Return to Fontaine Fisheries.

  • 1 of 12: Before you leave, you might want to go all through McDonagh's and get all the optional combat and loot it has to offer. I'll give the tips for the optionals in three sections since the place is so big.
  • 2 of 12: Leave McDonagh's the way you entered it, then return to where you found a security camera and a bot shutdown panel earlier.
  • 3 of 12: If you chased the spider splicer into the tavern's upstairs area, you'll find that the camera has been destroyed and a gun turret has been set up. Watch out for that and at least one new splicer in the area.
  • 4 of 12: Since you'll probably have to kill all of the splicers before you can get to the gun turret, it isn't worth the time to hack it, so just Electro Bolt it and run on past.
  • 5 of 12: After you go through a couple of doors, you'll find yourself back in the area where you dropped down earlier.
  • 6 of 12: You can't get back up, but the gate ahead that leads to the rest of the upper wharf is now open.
  • 7 of 12: Go through that gate, kill off the splicers, then go through the door to the west.
  • 8 of 12: You're now retracing your steps back to the lower wharf area with the RPG turret and the entrance to Fontaine Fisheries.
  • 9 of 12: When you enter that area, watch out for a spider splicer who's lurking on the stairs near the RPG turret.
  • 10 of 12: Finish off any other splicers in the area, then grab the Wrench Lurker combat tonic that's setting near the Gatherer's Garden and Gene Bank machines.
  • 11 of 12: Make your way back to the fishery door the same way you did before. (See the link below if you need a reminder.)
  • 12 of 12: Knocking on the door will finish this goal and get "Relinquish your weapons," but I advise you not to do that until you've checked the following special preparation tips.
